The most of last season Eglīte spent at SK Cēsis. In 16 games she averaged 4,8 points and 4,9 rebounds. Guard also added 3,6 assists and 1,9 steals.

Zane Eglīte represented Latvia at the EuroBasket Women 2015 qualifiers past summer. She had 5,4 rebounds and a team high 2,2 steals. Eglīte scored 2,4 points and made 2,4 assists in 5 games. She has also participated in the Olympic Games (Beijing 2008).

Latvia has qualified for every EuroBasket Women since 2005.
