Today we are happy to have a chat with Trine Kasemägi who, after her short break from basketball, joined Tallinn University team which has given the team a magnificent strength underneath the basket. Trine has previously received MVP award from the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League, is a silver medalist from U18 3on3 World Championship in 2013 and is the candidate for the Estonian National Team to face Netherlands and France in February's EuroBasket 2017 qualification games.

How do you motivate yourself before the games?

I think about how awesome it would feel to win and how terrible to lose, so I will do everything to feel awesome.

What kind of rituals you have before the games?

I like to listen to music and I always have to retie my laces somewhere in the middle of a warm-up.

Do you have anything you dislike about basketball?

I don't like missing out from family events.

In your eyes, what's the difference between men's and women's basketball?

Women's basketball is more emotional than men's.

Have you done any other sports besides basketball?

Yes, I used to do shot put and discuss throw - but I had to chose basketball, because the other stuff was more for free time, just to mix it up a little.

Tell us something about you

I like to read adventure books and I right know I am also trying to take on photography.

Tell us something unique that a lot of people don't know about you

I love coffee

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you ?

It happened a long time ago, but I have gone to a game with only one basketball shoe with me.

Do you have anything else you would like to teel your fans?

"Be fearless when it comes to life and careless when it comes to what people may think or say about you."

What would be your favourite breakfast on Sunday morning?

A smoothie and pancakes with strawberry jam.

Welcome back Trine and thank you for the replies!
