Today we asked questions from Pirgit Püü - the leader 1182 Tallinn team. She belongs to the Estonian Women's National Team playing to qualify for EuroBasket. During the last seasons she has also collected most of the MVP titles in the Estonian National League and Cup finals.

This season she has played 12 games averaged 13.5 pts (2pts 45.2%, 3pts 52.9%, FT 88.9%), 2.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game.

How do you motivate yourself before the games?

Every game is different, I motivate myself to win but also concentrate.

What kind of rituals you have before the games?

Not much just listening music and getting my mind right.

Do you have anything you dislike about basketball?

Nobody likes to loose. I don't mind losing games when the team playes good but if you loose a game not giving 110% then I am not happy.

In your eyes, what's the difference between men's and women's basketball?

Men's basketball is way more physical, women's play slower but in my eyes smarter.

Have you done any other sports besides basketball?

I started playing basketball when I was 7 so not really, but I have done swimming and track. I chose basketball because I liked it the best.
