The foul trouble took its toll as the game went on. All Tartu starters, except for Nele Laurimaa – Mirjam Nikolai, Kaiti Vasiljeva, Kadri Uiga and Janeli Lilleallik – were fouled out.

Tartu offense ran out of steam. Paula Strautmane took over the game, scoring eight points in the first two minutes of overtime to seal the win for the guests.

With a 5-2 record after the first seven games in the group, Ainārs Čukste side will have been proud to have met its target so quickly and convincingly.
