Püü and Wiggins lead 1182 Tallinn past Tallinn University

 The Estonian champions 1182 Tallinn (5-1) avenged their Final Six bronze game loss on Friday, November 13, by beating Tallinn University (3-2) on the road 89-62.

 

 

Howard Frier`s and Gerly Kostla`s side went on a 16-0 run early in the fourth quarter to extend their lead from 66-54 to 82-54.

 

Pirgit Püü capped off the decisive run with six consecutive points, including four free-throws, and left the court with 04:27 minutes left to play.

 

The guests made it to the free throw line for 33 times and made 27 of them while Tallinn University converted only 5 of 9 attempts.
