Tallinn University, which never led, hung with the hosts for first five minutes, 11-7, before Cēsis pulled away with a 36-15 run to finish the first half.

Cēsis outrebounded their opponents in the first half (27-10) and connected 15 of 24 two point shots, while Kersti Sirel`s players made only 6 of 23 attempts.

Armands Krauliņš and Uģis Viļums side lead grew to as many as 37 points in the second half, 85-48.

Laura Audere had 25 points for the guests, while other Tallinn University players combined for just 23 points.

Cēsis results in the "Top 6" tournament: against TTT Rīga (1-0, +2), against RSU/Merks (1-1, +20), against “Eclex Tallinn/1182” (2-0, +30), against Audentes (2-0, +59), against Tallinn University (1-0, +37).

Now the three time Latvian champions will try and win the “Top 6” tournament on Saturday, March 8, with a win over archrivals TTT Rīga.
